That is why we decided to offer a sloth tour: as a way to share something beautiful from our land with you. Sloths represent the calm spirit of Costa Rica and remind us of the importance of slowing down, observing, and respecting nature.

Our tours are guided with care and passion, focusing on authentic wildlife encounters and a deeper connection with Costa Rica’s natural environment.

Welcome to Join Our Sloth Tour or Night Walk

You are warmly welcome to join us on a sloth tour during the day or a night walk experience.

The sloth tour allows you to observe these gentle animals in their natural habitat while learning about Costa Rican wildlife and culture.
The night walk offers a different perspective, revealing nocturnal species and the unique sounds of the rainforest after dark.

Both experiences are designed to be respectful, educational, and memorable, allowing you to experience Costa Rica in a genuine and meaningful way.

Daniella was a lovely guide and provided plenty of useful information/facts in English and her father was a great spotter. We were lucky enough to see a mother and baby sloth as well as lots of frogs and other interesting creatures, and capture great photos through the telescope lens.

We were even able to start spotting creatures on our own by the end of it! So many great opportunities to see the local wildlife of La Fortuna. The tour was interactive and we saw many different plants and animals. We made our own tortillas and squeezed sugar cane for a drink, both of which were delicious.
